Me and Jack have recently changed our idea up abit, so we had to rethink several parts of our film. We changed our idea from the abandoned shack/building to camping in a feild type area.
We've planned on doing a film sequence rather than a short film. The genre we have chosen in horror, because of our zombie lovin'.
We've planned on a group of teenagers camping in the woods/a field, maybe hiding out the from the zombie outbreak, trying to survive, revolving around the Testing Plot.
Narative Structure: Liner. Maybe using some falshbacks. zombie outbreak is the disruption. and the resolution would be the suicide of the characters/escaping from the zombies, depending on what we decide.
Characters: TBC, not sure how many yet.
Stylistics: hand held camera movements (ie shaky and rough), numerous tracking shots to show the intense situation. editing would be fast cuts to again forlay the situation of being over run by zombies. i think Jack is in charge of the MES, lighting, Colour, and i havnt talked to him about ideas yet.
Sound: dialogue would be the diegetic sounds of the characters and manic sounds from the zombies. Non diegetic sound would be over laying music, we've started to look into some music from John Murphy and an example of what he did in 28 days later. Jack mentioned to me that he may be able to ask his freinds to record a song for us, to use for the chases.
We've got other small ideas to use aswell, just thought i'd put this on here.
